Terms & Conditions:
As a customer (‘you’) agree to be bound by these terms & conditions as set out by Finbarr International ( referred to as (‘us’ or ‘our’ or ‘we’).

Registration & Privacy:
We request that you register as a customer of Finbarr International ( so that you can access your order history & update details held by us such as delivery & e-mail addresses. You will then be able to place orders & change personal details via the website. We will send you latest offer & new product information immediately they are available. We will only use your personal information to inform you of such offers & to process your orders. We never pass on your information to third parties.

Purchases: The easiest way is to purchase online. View our catalogue & click on items to place in your shopping basket. Upon ‘checkout’, you will be asked for a few details so we can process the order. All credit card transactions are processed by Worldpay & we do not see your card details. This is a secure payment system so you can place your order with a peace of mind. If you prefer, you can place your order via e-mail, telephone or by post. Please see the Contact Us page. Remember that all purchases are transacted in US$ & your credit card company will convert from US$ to your home currency.

In the unlikely event that you need to return a book, please e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. stating the product you wish to return, the reason for return & whether a refund or exchange is required. If the product is sealed & unused then a full refund will be made, excluding delivery charges. If the product has been opened & used, a partial refund will be made. You should notify us of a Return within 14 days of date of receipt, & then the Return must be received by us within 14 days of that notification. If you return a product to us as faulty, we will check it & if the book is confirmed as faulty we will make a full refund. If we find it without fault then only a partial refund can be made.

We make every effort to ensure that all information on the website is accurate & current. However, we cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies in the material or omissions from it. Errors notified to us will be rectified as soon as possible.

Orders: All orders are subject to acceptance & availability. If the goods ordered are not available, you will be notified by e-mail or telephone & will be asked if you wish to wait for the item to become available or cancel the order.

Prices & Payments:
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. Books are currently zero-rated for VAT purposes. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice to you. Payment can be made by any major credit or debit card but please remember that all transactions will be in US$ & your credit card company/bank will convert to your home currency. If the price shown for any product is incorrectly advertised on the website & we discover this before processing your order, we are not required to sell the product to you at the price shown. If we discover an error in pricing, we will advise you & offer you the option of purchasing at the correct price or cancelling your order. If your delivery address is outside the United Kingdom, import duties & taxes may be levied on your delivery upon reaching the destination country. Books sent by Express delivery will have an invoice included, which is purely for dutiable purposes only. It is not a Sales invoice. If a Sales invoice is required please request when ordering. All additional taxes & charges are to be borne by you.

If you acquired the product for private use, as a consumer you have the right to cancel the contract within 7 days of receipt of the goods. You must notify us in writing at Finbarr International, Unit 22, Folkestone Enterprise Centre, Shearway Business Park, Folkestone, Kent. CT19 4RH. We will refund any monies you have paid, deducting costs associated with the return of the product.

We aim to despatch your goods within 3-4 working days of receipt of order, but offer an express service for additional fees. In the event that we are unable to despatch your goods within this time frame, we will send notification to you or despatch part of the order within 5 working days. We use airmail via Royal Mail. If you require specific alternative services please contact us before ordering. We cannot be held responsible for delays after the goods have been despatched from our warehouse. Orders placed after 2pm on a Thursday will not usually be despatched until the following week. If goods are returned to us by couriers because they were unable to deliver, then you will be contacted & given the choice of cancelling the order or having it despatched again. In both cases a charge will be made to cover our additional costs.
